What is PSWS?The Pacific Southwest Symposium (PSWS), formally known as PSWC (Pacific Southwest Conference), is an annual event, hosted by one or more ASCE student chapters across our region. At the Student Symposium, the different competitions are designed to test our ingenuity, knowledge of engineering subjects, and physical meddle.

San Diego is part of Region 9 in the ASCE map. For that reason, San Diego State University competes against other ASCE student chapters from Southern California, Arizona, Hawaii and Las Vegas.
