Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag
Date: Tuesday, September 6
Time: 8:00 p.m.
Location: ENS Field
Time: 8:00 p.m.
Location: ENS Field
ASCE current and new members got to know each other more through a game of Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag. One of the many attendees was Andrea Magat and here is her experience:
"As a freshman who went to the first ASCE General Body Meeting, I did not know what to expect. I didn’t know anybody in the club and it was scary trying to be a part of something new. That night, ASCE had a Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag event, and I was skeptical to go. However, I decided that maybe if I went with my roommate, I wouldn’t be so nervous. Later on, we headed to the field and I saw two people on the floor cracking glow sticks getting ready for the event. When we got to them, the people from ASCE were very warm and welcoming. Playing capture the flag at 8 o’clock at night and meeting new people was very fun. Seeing my competition wear green glow sticks and my team with every color but green, and running after each other was an overall exciting experience. When I saw how close everyone in the club was and how friendly they were to me and my roommate, I knew that ASCE would be a great club for me to be a part of."
